In obedience to your letter N. 758 of the 9th instant I beg to submit the following statement with reference to the various charges made by Le Doberck against me.
To the first charge I am compelled to say it is altogether inaccurate because I can read the barometer, thermometer, and rain gauge correctly enough.
To the last part of the charge, or to any other part of your work I am unable to make any statement in answer to it, unless Le Doberck...
